The Klammeraffe No. 14 reading sunglasses combine the familiar design of the model with the benefits of a bifocal style. The large, slightly rounded lenses offer a wide field of vision, while the distinctive full rim ensures stability—a design that also works well as a sunglass version. The color combinations feature the familiar two-tone look: a darker shade on the outside and a lighter accent on the inside, both with a matte finish.

The reading prescription is integrated into the lower portion of the sunglass lenses. The reading section is ground into the inner surface and is barely noticeable from the outside. This provides a practical solution, especially in the summer: protection from sunlight and clear near vision, without having to switch between two pairs of glasses.

The temples of the No. 14 are intentionally long and shaped so that the glasses not only fit comfortably but can also be worn loosely around the neck if needed. The soft-touch material feels smooth to the touch, and the light rubber coating provides additional grip. Thanks to the flexibility of the plastic used, the glasses remain comfortable even during extended wear. Sturdy spring hinges allow the frames to open wide, making it easy to put them on and take them off.
